Problems with Traditional Resume:
When it comes to selecting candidates for interview sessions, HR executives face problems when evaluating the traditional resume: often they do not know who built it. Only a few candidates actually build their own resumes. Many have someone they trust help prepare, write and edit their resumes. Some candidates, even worse, are using resume-writing companies to build their documentation for them. It is difficult to judge a candidate's traditional resume on form and style-the candidate may not deserve credit for the quality of his or her resume.

Employers: a list of basic problems associated with traditional/ digital resumes:
-
Resumes of differing formats sometimes make an accurate comparison of job
candidates difficult.

-
If the resume is composed of several pages, it may be physically uncomfortable to analyze the candidate.
-
Some resumes contain too much or too little information.
-
The resume may be improperly worded.
-
Information may not be properly distributed between the resume and cover letter (resumes should be composed of facts while cover letters should be composed of unique selling points).
-
Information provided in the traditional resume format must be improved in order to properly answer the criteria for hiring.

Job seekers encounter resume problems when it comes to selecting the best resume format. Traditionally job seekers have sought instruction from those with resume writing experience or employed someone to write their resume for them.
